Last week, a few of us had the opportunity to join some of the lovely people at Netflix for the premiere of Stranger Things 2!

We traveled to Los Angeles and made our way to lunch near the Hawk Theatre, where the event would take place. They were still setting it up, with signs and posters everywhere.

When we returned later, the area was completely packed! There were fans lined up around the block. The red carpet had stars from the show being interviewed and photographed. We regular folks went around the crowd and used our fancy tickets at the side entrance.

The premiere started out with some neat advertisements from Hawkins, and and introduction from Netflix. Most of the stars were present, sitting up in the front. There was a round of applause and a few speeches, and then the show began.

I won’t tell you about that part, because you can go watch it yourself at this point. 🙂

After the show, we headed over to the after party. It was outdoors and the California weather made for a much nicer setting than the Texas weather would have! The party was set up as the Hawkins Town Fair, with pumpkin stands, games, and all sorts of creepy decorations.

At midnight, we had one very important thing to do – post our update for Stranger Things: The Game! I had a laptop with me and we found a quiet spot to set up and prepare. We counted down to midnight and at 12:00 on the nose, we pushed the proverbial button and set the update live!

Working on Stranger Things: The Game has been an absolutely epic adventure, and I hope that you’ve all enjoyed playing it as much as we’ve enjoyed bringing it to you.
